![]() Good Morning from UPPER DARBY! I am almost done the next short-story which will be the next part of the Pagan Wars Series. I've also started using Google Ads to start bringing in more customers. Crusader Base of Camden City New Jersey is the home to Karima and the rest of Maxwell's Meteors and it is the base that they would be transferring FROM! Where the last two years spent there have turned Crusader Base into an intentionally designed deathtrap for failure! Into an Imperial American Counterstrike Forces(IACF) base that the People of Camden City finally are starting to accept. The reason for the distrust is because Camden City had initially been abandoned by the state of New Jersey and left to whatever happens, happens. This all changed when a group of juniors from across the Delaware river from Philadelphia were killed by members of Camden's criminal element! Leading to their friend deciding to go after the people who murdered them. Members of Philadelphia's Robot & Technologies Institute, the teenager who would ultimately become the vigilante, Orion the Hunter. Would get unexpected help from an unknown benefactor who would appear nearly a decade later to help Orion hold on to the Camden he'd cleaned up! Crusader Base of Camden, delves into the deal that had to be stuck between Orion and his supporters who'd taken over Camden and successfully repulsed state and federal attempts to retake the city FROM HIM! Which angered the People of Camden who were finally able to start enjoying like like everyone else in the American Empire. But a deal needed to be struck in order to appease the situation before it got totally out of hand, so!? Orion and his supporters were given pardons for all the people they killed in cleaning up Camden. While Camden had to accept having an IACF base! Built on its waterfront. This base would of course become Crusader Base of Camden. And of course it WAS NOT THERE TO HELP THE PEOPLE, but to try to find a means to eventually take the city away from Orion and his cronies who'd illegally seized it! The Crusader Base of Camden introduces everyone to the unfortunate ARCs who got stuck having to be the bane of Camden and its people. Who see them for what they are, a blatant act by the state and national government, to try to regain control over Camden City even when they'd abandoned the city to destitution. Poverty. Crime. Joblessness and every fuckin thing else that means we really don't give a shit about what happens to whomever is DUMB ENOUGH! TO KEEP LIVING IN THIS SHITHOLE OF A CITY! Well? Somebody has got to be assholes shitting on the city. Whether they like it or not. The next story introduces these assholes and the fact that they'd finally gotten things turned around and now the very same IACF that put the base there to fuck over Camden. Then selected all of them to garrison it, because they wanted to fuck them over to. Is now once again fucking them over by trying to lure away their only RELIABLE alpha-male officer, who clearly didn't know what was going on when he decided to go to Crusader Base two years prior. The story highlights how the ARCs of Crusader Base of Camden are now having to face the fact that their attempts to try to keep THEIR ALPHA-MALE OFFICER AT THEIR BASE? May have blew up in their face. Literally! ![]() GOOD MORNING FROM UPPER DARBY! Just posted the new short-story, Manmade Sheep! It starts off the Pagan Wars Series of World Within Worlds on earth! Either way, she's left to have to look back on what she's done with her artificially created life. Because she has been badly injured and buried by a surprise attack by PAGAN-CORP! Against the very same base that her and her unit were touring to decide on whether they'd accept being assigned there. Manmade Sheep is on sale now for $1.50! GET YOUR COPY TODAY! ![]() Chapter-1 Crossroads of the Sun, Moon-&-Dragonoids of Tanis He shifted around in the darkness of his observation orb and took in a deep breath before calmly exhaling out all of his anxiety. His semi-sunken eyes were looking over the trapezoid elevated display-screen in front of him, as it powered on with nothing but Tanis-Dragonoid text crawling all over it. The checklist to prepare Jeanette's dimensional-drive engines was already underway and he felt somewhat nervous that he'd had to make so many physical-alterations to himself and Jeanette! Just to be able to pull off getting a close enough look at Lu Gell in action to determine whether he should build everything around the diminutive-runt or leave him and his family to get torn apart by the Ilvala laying siege to his city. He'd better not get his ass killed before I can even get there to spy on him, Williams bitched to himself. More monitors and displays came online with Tanis-Dragonoid text on them. He had no problems understanding every word. The real trick was the cultural-references to the language. His cortical-camo implant was slowly doing the work of giving him all that he needed to be able to truly understand what it means to be a member of the Border-Region Territories and their distinctive customs-&-culture. Crossroad-technology is still every bit as formidable with a little bit of Williams Works innovation, he mused. The smug-smile of satisfaction quickly faded as he reached out with his mind. Causing a small holographic orange window to appear in front of him in response to his thought, as he said "Lemme see the readings forthe Dragonboy-Wonder." he didn't hide his sarcasm as his shit-fer-brains smug-smirk came back. His teeth were...? Kinda yellow!? And...? Nasty...! His clothes were...!? Are!? Dusty. Dingy! And dirty, as he softly sung about the fact that "I got the refuGe-SURVI-VOR, fee-verrrrrrrr...!" All of the displays and monitors were laid out around him in a semi-circle. While above his head also in a semi-circle were even more displays-&-monitors coming online, as Jeanette gave him the information to his 1-mark[1] square, orange holo-window "Here you go, Master." "Thank you." he chimed back and began immediately looking over Lu Gell's information that Jeanette had obtained for him "He's physically weak as shit, but!? Superhuman agility and his endurance...?" Williams noticed that "Looks like you needed to run a couple of scans for his endurance?" Jeanette sighed "It appears that he has created some sort of jamming-device that almost caused me to completely miss the fact that my initial OSS-readings were totally wrong! So I had to keep working and working at it where I found out that he has a lot of psionic-talents centered around biotechnology and machines. He can control machines and biotechnology, Master. So of course I had to be extremely careful sneaking around and spying on him. I almost got caught doing multiple OSS-readings!" and that got Williams' attention in a hurry as Jeanette added "Never mind that the infernal multilayered shielding around Lu City really caused me to have to work overtime. I couldn't get through it! So I had to wait till they sent out retrieval-teams to collect Ilvala-carcasses for consumption and domestic breakdown." The cortical-camo implant had done its job as Williams was hit with the knowledge that "Wait-a-second, whoa!? They. EAT!? THE ILVALA!? What the fuck kind of!?" and then his mind was filled with the image of what an Ilvala is. as well as what they look like "Okay that's on the Dr. Moreau side of the game! Who the hell decided!? To mix-n-match a woman's upper-body with the lower-body of two-different monsters!?" he was trying to figure out for himself...? Just what the hell he was seeing in his mind's-eye...!? "Is that a...?Dragon front-part... and then some sort of...? Black-lion back-part, what the hell!? This looks like these bitches could be related to fuckin Sudarka!?" and of course they are not even close to looking anything like his flagdragonmount! Well...!? Not exactly like Her...! Jeanette couldn't help but bust out laughing as she told Williams the fact that "The Ilvala, really all of Old Adari. They're a bioengineered slave-race to some Omniversal-section of Sauropod People." she was loving the persona he was deciding to roll with for this mission! In her hearts she knew he deserved to cut-loose and just act wild and be-wild! Instead of always having to be uptight and serious all the time! She loved him even more when he was like this! But hearing about Sauropod People? His face soured immediately because now he was through "Ohhhhhhhhhhhhh, SHIT!?" now that Jeanette's cockpit was lit up Williams looked...? Like shit. He literally looked like a bum late to get to his street corner! And a barbershop. And a razorblade... to shave that nasty chin-stubble and horribly-bad and uneven mustache! Williams quickly asked Jeanette "Are they still there!? I can't tell whether or not those shapechanging-handbags are them or someone else!?" then he quickly muttered that "You didn't tell me that the fuckin Border-Region Bastards-n-Bitches actually eat their enemies. I'm feeling some type of way about that, for-real for-real, JEANETTE. Seem like you tryin ta set me up with shapechanging-handbags and cannibalistic Dragonoids walking around and SHIT! Giant half-women that are half-amazing and probably taste!?" and all she did was laugh as he continued to mutter and complain that "WAIT!? If they have a woman's body and an animal's body? What kind of Cult of Kathulu-crap you got me into this time!? And do they have multiple-pussies because they're women and have beast-bodies!?" now she was in full blown laughter over his dumb-ass with all the shit he's seen in his life!? But that didn't stop him from adding that "I'm not trying to have some giant Ilvala-TITTY! Put!? Put steaming on a plate in front of me!? I don't need that TRAUMA, Jeanette. I mean it dammit! I'm a Border-Region Territories SURVIVOR!" from the wild-eyed look on his face! To his insistence that "I can't go back to the Empire now! Fuck them fuckin traitors! FUCK'EM! Gettin me attacked by giant women with giant titties!? I can't cope with this shit this machine is hittin me with right now, DAMMIT!" "And you won't have to!" Jeanette was struggling to breathe as she kept laughing her ass off "Focus on the positive, Master! Focus. On the Positives!" she couldn't help herself from laughing because she knew his ass would chow down on whatever titty was slapped down in front of him, otherwise!? He'd be chowin-down onfist! Flying in his face! From the Tanis-Dragonoids of the Border-Region sittin around him!? Easily seeing his ass is an imposter! "I'm trying." he deadpanned "I'm tryin And I'm FAILIN. I can't let them muthafucka's eat MY Ass like they eat them Ilvala-titties, dammit! I can't deal with that!" The two of them continued to laugh their asses off until both of them knew that the dimensional-drive engines were online-n-ready and that all of the laughter and silliness was now about to turn into seriousness. For Sao-Jang Williams he knew and understood that if Li-Caste-Line was going to survive, imprisoned or not. Exiled or not. He was gonna have to go around the old-guard and simply do what needed to be done before things got even worse than they already were "Well, My Love." his voice was somber and filled with the seriousness of what he was about to finally do "This is it." he wasn't comfortable about leaving the rest of his senior-staffers behind, but? With the situation and circumstances being what it is? He knew he had no choice in the matter "Prepare to move out, Jeanette." "Everyone will be okay while we're gone, Master." she tried to reassure him "We've planned everything out and everyone knows what to do. By the time anyone knows we're gone, we'll already be back!" or? So she hoped. To which he softly said aloud "So we all hope, Beautiful. So we all hope...." The interior of Jeanette was spacious and his modifications had passed all of the trials and test plus the anchor-beacon was working, too. But he was having some doubts because traveling to Tanis Island was always one misstep away from either being killed. Or being stuck there and unable to get back, well this is some BULLSHIT, he bitched to himself. Joke-time was definitely over now. Turning the backs of his hands up slightly he could still see the aging marks of his brown skin and knew that going back to Central Tanis Island again was gonna cost him some more years of his life. With a deep sigh he then sat back in his plush black cockpit-chair and mentally reached out and went through final-checks before departure. Jeanette's displays were situated all around him in a semi-circle layout. He checked her pedal-controllers at his feet. His black Ilvala-boots with their thick soles and finely-furred material was beat-up just enough. Or soh he hoped! He let the information that she'd just bombarded him with soak in a bit more, as he played with the edges of his beautiful but beat-up black robes. Spying on Tanis Island has always been a pain-in-the-ass, especially since they activated that goddamn Infinity Device, but!? His readings had led him to this part of the Omniverse, which didn't really...? Shock him.... Seems like we're joined to each other at the hip, he thought to himself. His face showed that he was tired, he definitely needed to shave his scruffy chin-hairs. He looked to be in his mid-30's, maybe? And his hair had grown into a bit of a wild mini-afro that was screaming for a shape up or a straight clip-cut down to scalp-level or lower! His nails are too long. He smelled like he hadn't showered in days! Teeth needed some cleaning weeks ago, the shit I go through for the sake of the Line. No time for regrets now, especially not with the hot-mess going on there "Activate OSS[2] and engage dimensional-drives." everything around him exploded in blaring white-light and the all too familiar sensations of atmospheric pressure made him smile, here we go again "Take us in, nice and easy, Jeanette...." [1] Mark = Feet [2] OSS = Otherdimensional-Scrying System ![]() Here is an excerpt from Chapter Zero; Chapter-Zero An Overview and the Underworld-Realm The two main humanoid-races of the Sun People and the Moon People were the second races to cover most of Underworld-Realm, but? In specific spots of Underworld they were either in competition or harmony with various other distinct races that had evolved from the Primordial Mist and staked their claims to the lands they now inhabited. The primary competition against the Sun-&-Moon People were the Mangs. It is because of the Mangs that the two merged together in the first place, because like most of the races of Underworld-Realm they fell victim to enslavement from the Mangs. However as time passed and the Mang flat-lined both evolutionally and in their sociopolitical and technological developments. The Sun-&-Moon People were able to develop superior technology and better socio-structures that didn't believe strictly in the premise of Might-Makes-Right. Their arcane-abilities were far superior on all fronts and this allowed them to begin quietly rebelling against the Mang and then once they began losing control over other regions and realms they finally openly rebelled! The combination of all of these races spelled the doom of Mang dominance and the Mang as a whole would never be able to return to their primordial-prehistoric glory! Overall the Mang are now just a common-stock race that can be found just about anywhere throughout the Underworld-Realms, but they are generally integrated amongst others and only hold any actual empires in parts of Arboria Prime and Suladad Prime. Cities of Mang are not uncommon, but they are ruled in the a-typical fashion of Mang customs and culture meaning that all one need do is topple the Mang ruler of the city and the entirety of the city falls to your feet one way or another. As for the Sun-&-Moon People the Fall of the Mang would make them another common-stock race of the Underworld-Realms for the most part. But unlike the Mang they would hold positions of power regardless of integrated races-&-places or not. The Sun-&-Moon People breakdown into three different main-ethnicities apiece having a number that are common to both, as well as halfbreeds from the intertwining of both people. Ironically the physical features of the Sun-&-Moon People are the general descriptors for all of the other Underworld-Realms. Thus a Bronze-Sun Dragonoid of Tanis Island would be a bronze complexioned Dragonoid with the accompanying broad nose, thick or full-lips and build of a Bronze-Sun. While an Ivory-Moon Mang would be a pink-skinned complexioned and possibly pink-furred Mang with a narrow-nose and thin-lips. A Bronze-Moon Person would be a bronze-complexioned almond-eyed individual for example. Amongst the Sun People there are the Obsidian, sometimes called Spatials in some parts of Underworld-Realm, because of their dark-skin. Along with the Bronze and Copper-Sun People they are the three main ethnicities of the Sun People. The Sun People get their name as a race because their skin is a direct gift from the sun of underworld. Most Sun People have a low-level of natural resistance to fire-&-heat, as well as the same low-level of natural resistance to arcane fire-&-heat. One of the principle tasks of disciplined Sun People is to hone their own natural resistances so that they can increase them. This way they can be used for combat and military purposes, as well as sheer self-improvement. Obsidian Sun People have a unique ability to actually have a low-level of natural resistance to cold-&-ice. Gifted Obsidian Sun People have shown an easier knack for the arcane sciences of the underworld-elements, including geoforce. In certain countries of underworld their Obsidian populations strive for mass arcane-mastery over the elements, which allows these regions and places to be completely devoid of standing armies due to their own collective ability to not only police themselves, but defend themselves. Bronze-Sun People have demonstrated a natural affinity for the arcane manipulation and generation of plasma in all its forms. This has given way for a high amount of Bronze-Sun people being extremely skilled in the fields of medicine and healing, while Copper-Sun People have a low-level resistance to arcane energies in general. Well trained Copper-Sun People have also shown that they can master the manipulations of arcane energies on a vast scale when talented enough. This has given rise to the Water-Mirror Cult, sometimes blatantly called the Copper Water-Mirror Cult, which is an underworld-wide group whose label depends entirely on whichever region or country or realm they are found in. They generally tend to wear exo-armor akin to a priest or cleric or monk, all of which is determined by whichever region and sect they belong to. Some see them as a mercenary organization, while others see them as clerics and priests to be called upon during times of need. Regardless of all of that the Water-Mirror Cult is made up of mostly Copper-Sun People who have honed their ability to manipulate arcane energies to such an extent that they can use the naturally ambient arcane energies around them, as well as those naturally generated by people! To various shocking and startling effects! Thus the nature of their name, the Water-Mirror Cult. The Sun People of Primordial Prehistory often migrated and moved about underworld in a methodically-measured pace, often setting up cities and engaging in cultivation of wherever their feet touched the ground. Only after stability was established did the Primordial Prehistoric Sun People then begin sending out explorers and allowing for fully funded and supported expeditions and adventures elsewhere. This of course often caused them to encounter Mang Marauders who were sent out to either raid whatever they found or actually stake claim to territory where a large Mang caravan was somewhere not too far behind them. The battles between the Mang and the Sun People were always costly to the Sun People who believed in a more measured and meticulous form of territorial expansion and development. Once the Primordial-Mang were finally defeated the Sun People went back to their meticulous development of land and people working within limits and without excess. The settling and stability of pre-historic underworld is directly contributed to the Sun People, as well as the rise of what would eventually become foreign trade-&-commerce, because one couldn't partake in trade-&-commerce safely during those early times without truly having a stable place to trade from... or trade with. But many did try... Many. Did. Try.... ![]() Good Morning from Upper Darby! I am fleshing out a lot of the characters and concepts for not just this short story for CAM87. But also the backstories and environments, history and the customs/culture of these different races-n-places. Not gonna get deep in details, but I'm definitely picking up the pace and should have the new stories up soon! Later Peoples! |
