Working with Lead
Good Evening from Philadelphia...!
I am literally in the midst of working on Philadelphia-Dellmar and decided to QUICKLY come up on here in order to type about the Fact that I picked up some graphite-pencils today!
At a $1.60 apiece!
From Grades F to 6B!
Now prior to LAST MONTH!?
I only used Mechanical-Pencils and really didn't delve but so deeply into which .5-pencils and .6-pencils, etc!
Till just before August.
Where it really dawned on Me that I need to start paying attention to this and LEARNING MORE ABOUT THE LEADS IN THE PENCILS AND HOW BEST TO USE THEM FOR MYSELF, so!?
That is what has finally led TO RIGHT NOW.
Where I've DECIDED to abandon using the mechanical-pencils and use the straight graded graphite-pencils!
I've been using the H to work on Philadelphia-Dellmar's face, hands, and arms!
With the understanding that since this is literally a HARD-Graphite?
The lines can be taken up EASIER due to the fineness of the lines, but!?
The literal HARDNESS OF THE GRAPHITE CAN LEAVE LINES MUCH EASIER IN THE PAPER ITSELF EVEN AFTER ITS ERASED!
Lemme get back to it.
Here is what I have drawn SO FAR of Philadelphia-Dellmar....
