![]() Good Evening from Upper Darby! Advertising is something I was always concerned about from day-1. Advertising and marketing are huge once a product is created, because no one can buy a product that they don't know exist. Because I've been on an EXTREMELY NARROW BUDGET. Then My Resources for Advertising/Marketing are limited at best, non-existent at worse. The strength of My Blogsite was to have been a big boost in this area and I was certain that I'd be able to build-up ENOUGH of a readership AND INTEREST in From Child to Man so that once I finished the book? Then I'd be able to generate some immediate sales of AT LEAST A DECENT SIZE. Well? My work on the blogsite has gone off without a hitch. I posted excerpts and insights to the book as I was working and responses to those posts were always positive. They got views, but I am seeing now that just because people read these posts and were good view counts? I see now it doesn't mean that these people are gonna actually PURCHASE THE BOOK when it becomes available, or? Does it? I think it definitely shows... INTEREST. But at some point or another with the constant POSITIVE-pageviews I always got on anything regarding From Child to Man, then I expected sales to be better than they are. So it's been an interesting lesson in learning that just because people "showed interest" when things were FREE. Doesn't mean they'll buy the eBook now that they have to pay. Or? Does it...?
