Feeling under the weather thanks to the all-day downpour and of course patrolling in it. Shout out to My Day-Job Coworkers who kept telling me to stay dry and think about My Health instead of walking around in that torrent of rain we had today here in Philadelphia.
As for today?
Got work done.
New artwork is done.
What I DIDN'T GET DONE, was the map for Scargill's Lower Dragontooth Mountain Misadventures. I spent the day coloring once I got back to My Guard-Shack and as the downpour continued and the day went on My Health went downhill and it became obvious I was getting sick from all that walking around in the rain.
So it took me way longer to color the new artwork and by the time it was done I was pretty much all fucked up. Feels like a cold TRYING TO GET ME. But I really wanted to get the map done because I have all the END RESULTS FINISHED. And if I am sounding vague then lemme explain briefly.
Chapter 1 is done.
The tentative title for this is A Jigsaw Puzzle of a Journey.
Chapter 2 involves Scargill's misadventures in the mountains of Lower Dragontooth.
I have it sketched out in notes.
And as you know the mountains are, these mountains are, Quwari-Dragoon Turf!
And they're not exactly thrilled to have anybody from Killgutt-Forest or Lankshaw-County, up in THEIR MOUNTAINS! Without giving too much away, they don't have toll-roads up there and they are firm believers in the phrase "You check in... BUT YOU DON'T CHECK OUT!"
So of course that means that getting across these mountains is gonna take more than a few weeks.
It took YEARS!
This also ties into the IMPORTANCE of Drayla and then Tupa and the fact that they were serving as the beacons to help guide Scargill and His Party out of the mountains. So I needed to get that map done and I've brought home the things I need to do the map tomorrow. Annnnnnnnnnnnnd, now I'm gonna wrap this post up due to illness.
