MAD-Insignia of Madtronix and an Appropriate Theme....

The very first time I heard this song was while playing the old King of Fighters 95 in an arcade a long time ago, clearly in 1995 though. Because the games were literally released within their respective years. In typical SNK fashion, because they were light-years ahead of where video games were when it came to music and concepts and ideas. I finally got the chance to hear the arranged version of this music when I got my very first Neo-Geo CD game system.

The fun part is the fact that if you know this music, HAL to Bass and Melody. Then you know that this music for this fighting game, doesn't have the type of robotic undercurrent that it actually gives off. So when I first came up with the concept of Madtronix and MAD, it was this machine-music that I heard in my head as I was writing it out.

However if you actually know the King of Fighters game and this theme and the character it is used for, it becomes obvious real quick that MY USAGE OF THE MUSIC, is distinctly NOT how it was originally used! I keep finding out the hard way that many people can't hear or see something from something else and then CREATE SOMETHING ORIGINAL FROM IT.

I don't have that problem.
So I can sit and listen to music from this or that and CREATE MY OWN ORIGINAL IDEAS FROM THAT. While I keep seeing too many others cannot. I will be posting Part Two of the Madtronix Witch-Doctor's tonight.
