So I have been working day in and day out at the Dayjob and then coming back and doing more and more artwork! Working on new styles and expressions of My Artwork, so I started here; Where I felt as though the colors were FLAT! So I started trying to find ways to make My Artwork stand out; This wasn't TOO BAD. Neither is This; But I decided I needed to make some more changes. So the FIRST THING I DID was actually, FINALLY! Buy a BIG-ENOUGH SCANNER/PRINTER! So now I could do THIS; As You can see, MY NEW SCANNER/PRINTER COPIER can ACTUALLY SCAN THE ENTIRE DRAWING NOW, WOO-WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! I still wasn't satisfied with this so I've started to EXPAND on My Artwork; The textures of what I was drawing, the materials that the characters are wearing? They didn't seem...? GOOD ENOUGH, as far as Their Depiction, so I started searching for more than just mere prismacolor-markers. I was SPECIFICALLY LOOKING FOR more markers along the lines of the Prismacolor of Gold and Silver, where they have a METALLIC-LOOK AND SHEEN TO THEM. Demona was the very first piece I worked on where I'd found black-markers and began experimenting with using oil-based sharpies and deco-markers! I'd never used either Sharpies nor Deco-Markers previously! And shout out the Sexy Securitas Guard down at the Blick's in Center City Philadelphia who has continuously helped Me sort through colors and variations to start getting more and more looks like this one; And this one; So now I've been fuckin around with more and more different combinations, still haven't gotten a new Adobe Program. Still do everything by hand and not on computer. No Lightpens and all of that. BUT I'M WORKING ON IT! So I've started to get better and better; The Prismacolors are great for SKINTONES AND SOFT-MATERIALS! The Deco-Markers, WHICH I WAS KIND OF SHOCKED ABOUT. The Artists-Guys who used to work across the street from Me at the Dayjob, had no clue what the fuck those even were till I showed Them. But the Decos are great for HARD-MATERIALS! HIGHLIGHTING'S! And for showing ABNORMALITIES that show that My Characters ARE NOT HUMAN. It's 9:45pm EST. Lemme hit the bed, been a long week at the Dayjob. Goodnight...! From Philadelphia....
